Wajahat Ali mocking Vivek Ramaswamy and Kash Patel during his commentary on midterm results. Pakistani-American writer Wajahat Ali’s clip mocking Indian-origin Vivek Ramaswamy and Kash Patel during his election commentary for Zeteo went viral as many enjoyed the sharp criticism while the rest did not like the embedded racism. Ali was offering his comments on Vivek Ramaswamy’s defeat in Ohio as he was joined by Mehdi Hasan and Prem Thakker. As Ali inanimatedly mocked Vivek and also rolled his eyes as he referred to Kash Patel, Hasan and Thakker could not control their laughs. In the viral clip, recorded at a Michigan Democrats 2026 election night event, Ali said: “We all grew up with a Vivek and a Kash Patel. Vivek and Kash Patels were those nerdy, dorky guys who desperately tried to be on the varsity football team but nobody picked them. They picked them last. They were nerds. They wanted Jennifer to date them. Jennifer said, ‘You’re a dork; I’m never going to date you’. And they sat there and said, ‘One of these days, I’m going to make a lot of money and I’m going to have sex with a white woman.““So Vivek Ramaswamy made a lot of money. He frauded out with his family, did a pump and dump scheme, got that little poof hair. And he thought the Whites would take him. Fair and Lovely cream. But the Whites will never ever accept Vivek Ramaswamy,” Ali said.As Vivek conceded his defeat to Democratic Amy Acton, Ramaswamy said: “… I have confidence that sometimes these things happen for a reason. God has a plan. We’re His instruments, and I still believe that in the fullness of time, our state’s best days and our country’s best days will still yet be ahead of us. This is the greatest country known to the history of mankind…”. His wife Apoorva Ramaswamy was seen standing by his side, in tears.
