Kim Kardashian’s former Beverly Hills mansion, which became a memorable part of her whirlwind romance with NBA star Kris Humphries, is set to return to the property market with a multimillion-dollar price tag. The reality star’s former residence, where Humphries famously proposed to her in front of cameras in 2011, is expected to be listed for just under $8.5 million on Monday. The sprawling estate has undergone an extensive makeover, with its current owners giving the interiors a fresh, contemporary look while retaining elements of its traditional architecture.

The gated Tuscan-style mansion in Beverly Crest was once a familiar setting on the Kardashian family’s reality show, ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. One of its most memorable moments came in 2011, when Humphries went down on one knee and proposed to Kim in her bedroom. Their romance, however, had a rather short-lived ending. The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding in August 2011 but filed for divorce just 72 days later.Kim originally purchased the property in 2010 for $3.4 million and sold it in 2013 for approximately $3.6 million, according to property records. She later married rapper Kanye West in 2014, and the former couple went on to welcome four children before their divorce in 2022.

The property has changed hands several times since Kardashian’s departure. Its current owners acquired the estate for $5.12 million in 2024 through a limited liability company and subsequently commissioned designer Sebastian Zuchowicki to transform its interiors.Speaking to Architectural Digest, Zuchowicki revealed that the original interiors felt dark, prompting him to reimagine the space with a brighter aesthetic that blends traditional design elements with contemporary touches.

The renovation has also erased much of the property’s connection to its famous former owner. Those hoping to find traces of Kardashian’s personal style may be disappointed, as the makeover has replaced the interiors that once reflected her taste. When she sold the mansion in 2013, Kardashian reportedly left it fully furnished, with some personalised details, including her branding in the glam room, still intact.Interestingly, the property also made an appearance on the family’s current reality series, ‘The Kardashians’, when Kim revisited her former home after it was put up for sale, bringing back memories of her time there.
