(Photo: Xinhua) China launched another batch of low-orbit internet satellites into space on Sunday, adding to its growing satellite network.The 24th group of the low-orbit internet satellites was carried aboard a Long March-12 rocket from a commercial spacecraft launch site in Hainan province.The rocket lifted off at 12.10 pm Beijing time and successfully placed the satellites into their designated orbits.The launch took place from the southern island province of Hainan, which has become an important location for China’s commercial space activities.The latest mission is part of China’s ongoing effort to build large networks of low-orbit satellites that can provide internet connectivity from space.
