England cricket legend Andrew Flintoff has put his lavish Cheshire mansion on the market for £6.75 million, offering a glimpse into the luxury property where the former England all-rounder has lived with his family.The 48-year-old, widely known as Freddie Flintoff, purchased the property in 2021 from former Manchester United footballer Phil Neville. Flintoff purchased the Cheshire property in 2021 from former Manchester United star Phil Neville, who subsequently moved to the United States to coach Inter Miami, the MLS club co-owned by David Beckham.Flintoff and his wife Rachael have four children – Holly, Corey, Rocky and Preston.His two sons have also followed their father into cricket. Corey Flintoff, 20, is an all-rounder for Kent, while 18-year-old Rocky has represented Lancashire, Flintoff’s former county.

Flintoff remains one of England cricket’s most recognisable sporting figures. He played international cricket across formats and became a key figure in England’s famous 2005 Ashes-winning team.After retiring from professional cricket, he successfully transitioned into television, becoming a presenter on programmes including Top Gear and Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams.His career took a dramatic turn in 2022 when he suffered serious facial and rib injuries in a crash while filming Top Gear.The accident left him dealing with both physical injuries and significant mental-health challenges. Flintoff previously revealed that he barely left his home for six to eight months, except for medical appointments and surgeries.Speaking about the crash, he described the terrifying moment when the vehicle began rolling and said his experience as a cricketer helped him make a split-second decision that he believes saved his life.

Flintoff returns to cricket with Sydney Thunder

Flintoff has since gradually returned to cricket, taking on coaching and mentoring roles.He became England Lions head coach in September 2024, helping develop the next generation of English players. The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed in August that he had stepped down from the position.His next major assignment will be in Australia, where he has been appointed Sydney Thunder head coach.
