KOLKATA: The Election Commission has a multi-layered security plan for 142 constituencies going to polls in the second phase of Bengal elections on April 29. Sources said 2,321 companies of central forces will be deployed across districts, including Kolkata, with the highest deployment in the Kolkata Police area (273), followed by East Burdwan (260) and Hooghly Rural (234). In addition, 38,297 police personnel will be deployed.
